Terms of service
These terms govern this website and any enquiry you make through it. Work we carry out is governed by the written quote and scope you approve.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Trinity Power & Construction. Our registration details are on the compliance page.
2. Nothing here is a quote
The information on this site is general. Scope descriptions, typical durations and indicative bands are there to help you understand how the work runs — they are not an offer and not a price. A quote exists only when we have assessed the site and given it to you in writing.
3. Enquiries
Sending an enquiry does not create a contract and does not oblige us to take the work. We will confirm whether we can help, and if we can, we will arrange a site assessment.
Please give accurate information. Quoting depends on it, and a quote based on a description that turns out to be wrong will have to change.
4. Work we carry out
Any work we do is governed by the written quote, the scope attached to it, and any variation you approve in writing — not by this website. Where those documents and this site differ, the quote and scope prevail.
5. Regulatory information
Where this site describes a standard or a regulation, it does so in general terms to help you understand what applies. It is not legal or technical advice for your specific property, and requirements differ between municipalities. Confirm your own position with us, your conveyancer or your local authority.
6. Availability
We try to keep this site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If a form is not working and you need us, phone us.
7. Intellectual property
The content, layout and design of this site belong to us or our licensors. You may read it, print it and share links to it. You may not republish it as your own.
8. Links to other sites
Where we link to another organisation — a regulator, a standards body — we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
10. Your personal information
Handled as described in our privacy notice.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
